The Red Wings averaged 12.5 goals in their opening six games, but the Brooks School dragged Rivers down into a slow grinder with a strong, determined zone defense. Even without all the goals Rivers was able to adapt and beat the Bishops 6-3 to push its undefeated record to 7-0. “I thought it was a chess match, the defenses were good, and our offense survived with some timely goals,” Rivers coach Justin Walker said. “I don't think it was a consistently excellent performance, but I think it was good enough to get a W.” [caption id="attachment_13470" align="ali
