WORCESTER - Last season, Scituate ended a 16-year drought and won the Division 3 championship with star Willy Robinson leading the way before he headed off to Army. This season, the returners wanted to prove that it wasn't just a one-man show. The Sailors did just that. Behind a stifling defensive effort, lengthy, clock-killing possessions and a hat trick from Luke Spaulding, third-seeded Scituate took down top-seeded Dracut 7-4 in Saturday's D3 title game at Worcester State. It's back-to-back for the second time in program history for Scituate (17-7), also doing it in 2008 and 2009. Dracut's phenomenal season ends at 21-2.
