ACTON - Three of the first four Division 1 Elite 8 games this weekend failed to live up to their potential in terms of great matchups and the possibility of some nail-biting finishes. With two blowouts and another game with nine combined goals, that meant third-seeded Acton-Boxborough and sixth-seeded Andover had to put on a show on a perfect night for lacrosse Saturday if the state quarterfinals were going to be saved. They delivered. The Revolution trailed by one at halftime after a six-goal second quarter for Andover, but A-B outscored the Golden Warriors 8-4 in the second half for a roller coaster 15-12 win.
