After passing its first test in the season opener, two-time defending D1 state champ St. John's Prep had another tough early season matchup with a highly motivated Acton-Boxborough team on Saturday morning. Jimmy Ayers led the way for Prep with a six-goal, two-assist performance, including scoring the final four goals of the game. Eight Eagles recorded at least a point while Gavin Kornitsky made 11 saves on 19 shots. For the Revolution (1-1), Ryan Cho had a hat trick and an assist, Tyler Clayton had a hat trick and Cam Matthews had two goals and two assists.
