By Eamon Convey @EJConvey  MELROSE -- The No. 11 Winchester Sachems (13-1, 5-1 ML) kept rolling on Friday night, as they took over sole possession of first place in the Middlesex League and moved one step closer to earning the No. 1 seed in Division 2 North, with an 11-7 win over No. 19 Melrose (8-4, 7-1). Charlie Ward (4 goals), and Jake Mabardy (2 goals, 2 assists) led the way offensively for Winchester, who employed an impressive ride and staunch defense in the win.
