The Pioneers entered coming off an overtime defeat to Algonquin on Tuesday, and Thursday’s victory marked the SJS's first victory over Longmeadow since 2011.   Longmeadow jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind goals from Jimmy Grinstead and Will Quirk, but a 5-0 run led by a hat trick from Air Force commit Owen Boss gave the Pioneers a 5-3 lead at halftime.
