It was one of the best games during the Bruce Lerch Memorial Games as CM needed a five-goal fourth quarter to come from behind and beat King Philip 8-6. Harry Morrill and Deven Patel each had two goals in the fourth quarter. The Knights scored their last three goals in a 26-second span to give themselves enough room for the victory. Sam Agricola and Anthony Truini each had two goals for the Warriors, and junior goalie Paul Macrina stole the show. Macrina turned aside 13 CM shots, and was the driving force behind keeping CM scoreless in the second and third quarters. CM found its edge by dominating at the faceoff X.
