DANVERS - St. John's Prep hasn't played much lacrosse yet, but they've passed their first two tests. After opening against A-B and then having its matchup against BC High rained out, Prep had to wait 10 days to play its second game. Catholic Memorial is going to make life difficult on everyone it plays this season and did so against their Catholic Conference rivals when they visited Danvers, but the Eagles ultimately won 14-9. Jake Vana led the way with three goals and an assist. Cam McCarthy added two goals and an assist and Oliver Rosselli potted two as well.
