By Joe Parello SHREWSBURY - In a battle for town and regional dominance, Shrewsbury bottled up rival St. John's en route to a statement 8-3 victory. The visiting Colonials (7-3) put together one of the best defensive performances in the state so far, holding the explosive Pioneers (6-2) to just three goals on 10 shots. Senior pole Tim Hally did it all, containing St. John's senior Jared Ward, limiting the star attack to a single goal, along with leading the charge on clears and fighting for ground balls.
