Rivers 15, Middlesex 12 – Redwings outlast Zebras in big early season ISL matchup

WESTON - It's time to start talking about Rivers more. The Redwings got a 15-12 statement win over Middlesex on Monday evening in a game that wasn't as close in the end as the scoreboard indicated. Rivers (6-1, 3-1) handed the Zebras (5-1, 3-1) their first league loss, taking advantage of 10+ minutes of man-up, scoring seven goals with the advantage. Chad Bartlett had five goals and Will Pratt had four goals and three assists. Marcos Ramos came up huge in the cage with 14 saves, including nine in the second half, some of the jaw-dropping variety.
