READING - It's safe to say anyone who thought Reading would drop off dramatically this season with the departure of longtime head coach Charlie Hardy was sorely mistaken. The defending D2 champs stunned perennial D1 state title contender BC High 11-10 in overtime on Tuesday night in a first round matchup in The Players Cup. Reading remained unbeaten (5-0) and will face North Andover Thursday in the semifinals. BC High fell to 3-1. Nate Mulvey scored the game winner on a quick-stick in OT off a great feed from Cullen Granara. Mulvey had a five-goal performance while that duo connected for goals three times on the night. Granara finished with two goals and three assists. Aidan Koster
