King Philip midfielder Sam Mattson '21 KP has had an impressive Spring. The standout midfielder committed to the University of Massachusetts, in March, where he will play lacrosse for Head Coach Greg Cannella and the UMass Minutemen, next season. He has also helped lead King Philip to a 5-3 record and is one of the top-scoring midfielders in the Hockomock League. The senior exploded for seven goals in a 16-10 win for the Warriors over Hockomock League rival, Mansfield - earlier this season.
