By Jake Levin @jakelevin09 FOXBORO — "Special players make special plays," Foxboro coach Matt Noone stated emphatically after the game. Noone was referring to his senior attackman, Lou Piccolo, who completed his hat-trick in the second overtime frame, on Wednesday, helping lift No. 22 Foxboro (14-1) to a 7-6, 2-OT win over Hockomock rival No. 10 Franklin (12-3). “That play Louis just made? I was calling for him to make a pass and he stuck it like that,” Noone said, referring to the twirling backhander Piccolo executed. “That’s magical. Special players step up in special moments, and Louis did just that tonight.” https://twitter.com/JakeLevin09/status/9968889797724078
