Nobles Defeats Gov’s to Forge Tie Atop ISL

DEDHAM – No. 2 Governor’s and No. 3 Nobles squared off on Wednesday with first place on the line in the always exciting and competitive ISL.
Nobles, riding a ten game winning streak, came out firing early, striking first and never looking back, as they defeated Governor’s 12-5, moving into a first-place tie with Gov’s atop the ISL standings.
“They are a really talented group,” Nobles coach Matt Rowley said of Gov's. "We had to win each possession, win each groundball, and make our offense count - and we did all those things today."
