FRANKLIN - For the 14th time in 17 games this season, Longmeadow held an opponent under 10 goals. The Lancers' defense stifled a very good Franklin offense on Tuesday night, earning a gritty 9-5 win. Longmeadow (15-2) got a massive 20-save performance from goalie Leigh Chapman to lead the defensive show. Colin Mulderig had four goals while Max Zichittella added a hat trick and an assist.
