No. 1 Belmont Hill Holds Off No. 4 Gov’s
By Ryan Kilian @masspreps
BELMONT -- When Belmont Hill and Governor's go head-to-head in an early season ISL battle, it is always must see lacrosse. Both teams feature tough defenses, clutch offensive performers and well coached lacrosse programs. On Saturday afternoon, No. 1 Belmont Hill looked every bit the part of the top ranked team in the State, as they would defeat the visiting Red Dogs, 8-3.
"We build ourselves on playing team defense," Belmont Hill Coach Tim Sullivan said of his team's strong defensive performance. " All six guys on our defense matter for us. We rep that, practice it, draw it up and work real hard to make that a focus."
