By Kevin Stone NEEDHAM - Thursday afternoon was an important day for the Needham lacrosse team. The Rockets came into a matchup against Newton North having lost two straight one-goal games and found themselves trailing by one with just 5:04 left in the fourth quarter. Needham responded though, scoring the game's final four goals to ultimately come up with a big 9-6 victory. The Rockets are now 11-5 while the Tigers saw their four-game win streak end and are now 13-3 on the year. "We were in desperate need of a win today," Needham coach Dave Wainwright said.
