Acton-Boxborough 17, Reading 14 – Revolution win wild one in Players Cup quarterfinal (VIDEO)

ACTON - In a matchup of two Top-10 teams, Acton-Boxborough won a shootout with Reading in the first round of the annual Players Cup vacation week tournament. The Revolution and Rockets won't meet in the postseason with A-B in D1 and Reading in D2, but this easily could have been a fantastic playoff game on Tuesday night. It was a game of runs with A-B ultimately making a couple more plays to win. The face off battle between Mike Calvo for the Revolution (18 wins) and Reading's Tomaso DeLuca (15 wins) was intense for all four quarters. Ethan Fennel (5 goals, 1 assist), Will Cronin (4 goals, 1 assist), Tristan Clayton (3 goals, 3 assists) and Christian Maranian (3 goals, 1 assist) all
