In a year where the league is seemingly as wide open as it's been in a while, that made Friday's matchup between Middlesex and Rivers even more important. Middlesex jumped out to a six-goal lead in the first half, held on for dear life when Rivers tied the game in the fourth and ultimately came away with a 13-9 win.
