By Willy Wright BostonLax Correspondent NEEDHAM- After beating league rival Natick by one earlier this season, the Needham Rockets made sure a close game would not happen again with the season on the line, hammering the Redhawks 16–6 in the first round of the Division 1 MIAA playoffs Tuesday night. 20th-seeded Natick finishes the season 11–8 while the 13th-seeded Rockets (16–3) have a date with No. 4 Franklin and their high-powered offense on the road Thursday night in a Sweet 16 matchup.
