SUDBURY - Lincoln-Sudbury looked every bit the top seed in Division 1 on Saturday night, hammering No. 9 Xaverian 17-8 in a quarterfinal matchup. The Hawks led 2-0 for about five minutes before L-S ripped off six straight and never looked back, building a 9-4 lead at the half and a 15-5 cushion after three. Brady Malo had five goals for L-S, while Rex Friedhom and Brendan Dooley had hat tricks. Anthony Sacco and Kiff Dooley each had two goals. Ryan Gallagher won 19 face offs. The No. 1 Warriors (16-3) will face No. 4 Acton-Boxborough in one of two semifinal games at Burlington High School (5:30 or 7:30) on Tuesday.
