Lincoln-Sudbury 8, Longmeadow 7 – Warriors get important win over Lancers (VIDEO)

After losing two straight, Lincoln-Sudbury desperately needed a bounce back against another perennial contender Longmeadow on Saturday night. Well, thanks to two goals apiece for Peter Rossi and Drew Laguerre, a strong defensive effort and 12 combined saves between Rex Garozzo and Jesse Rich, the Warriors took home a big 8-7 win. Rich had a huge late save in some chaotic closing moments to preserve the one-goal win. Longmeadow was led by Max Zichittella's four goals and two assists. Finley Morin also potted two. Brendan McGreer made seven saves and Nick DeAngells-Gray won a whopping 15 face offs. L-S moved to 8-4 while the Lancers dropped to 13-2. Video highlights from Dom Vecchi
