SUDBURY - In its first game back off a successful two-game trip to Washington, Lincoln-Sudbury immediately jumped back into the deep end when it comes to MIAA play, hosting Duxbury on Thursday.
As expected, a back-and-forth affair throughout the evening broke out and ultimately, one save from Rex Garozzo in the closing seconds preserved a 10-9 win in the Top 10 matchup.
No. 3 L-S (9-2) got four goals from Tyler Deede and two each from Rex Friedholm and Brendan Dooley. Garozzo played the second half and finished with four saves after Jesse Rich made six saves in the first 24 minutes.
No. 9 Duxbury fell to 8-5 with a third straight loss. Liam Goodwin had a hat trick for the Dragons. C
