Hingham 7, Needham 6 – Harbormen hold off late Rockets’ surge for early statement win (VIDEO)

NEEDHAM - Leading by three goals after three quarters on the road Wednesday afternoon, Hingham survived a late Needham charge to hold on for a big 7-6 win. The Harbormen led 5-0 after one, 6-1 at the half and 6-3 heading to the fourth before ultimately pulling out the victory. Cam McKenna led Hingham with a hat trick while Owen Packard and Paddy Browne each had two goals. Browne also added three assists. Ben Brazis made four saves and Sean Carroll won 12 face offs. Needham got two goals from Matt Ledbury and Mike Roach as well as one each from Charlie Cianclo and Reis Conway. Tommy Peabody made a ridiculous 19 saves.
