Governor’s Completes 2018 ISL Championship Season

BYFIELD – It was a tale of two halves for No. 4 Governor’s Academy on Wednesday, as they played host to No. 24 Middlesex in their season finale.
With the game tied at 5-5 at the half, Governor’s would explode out of the break and outscore Middlesex 8-2 in the second half, clinching at least a tie of the 2018 ISL Boys Lacrosse Championship, with a 13-7 victory.
“Middlesex is a very good team,” Governor’s coach Steve Moreland said. "They played very well and they are a smart team. I was not surprised it was a tie game at the half, but I felt like if we could tighten-up some things and use our legs we could have success."
