After a four-quarter battle, it would be Longmeadow who would come out on top, holding off a valiant Medfield comeback effort, to earn a 13-10 victory. With the win, Longmeadow secured a place in Saturday's D2 final, where they will play the winner of Hingham and Beverly (to be played on Wednesday night in Norwell).
