D1 South: Dragons D Stifles Eagles

By Phil Garceau NORWELL - Even by the outrageously high standards that we’ve come to expect from the Duxbury lacrosse team, Tuesday evening's 10-2, Div. 1 South semifinal victory over second-seeded BC High was impressive. The No. 3 Dragons dominated every phase of the game, beginning with basics on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, but also including the intangibles such as draw control and special teams. In short, the Eagles had no answer. “Outstanding, that was a team effort,” Duxbury coach Chris Sweet said
