Annapolis, M.D. (May 12, 2016) – An explosive seven goal second quarter and a five-point night for Will Manny lifted the Boston Cannons (2-1) to a 13-11 victory over the previously undefeated Chesapeake Bayhawks (2-1) on Thursday night at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. “The mid-week road win was a resilient team win. The guys gutted it out for 60 minutes! We kept up our compete level through the highs and lows to result in a big ‘W’. The coaching staff could not be more proud,” said head coach Sean Quirk. Despite trailing 2-0 early in the first, the Cannons would not go down without a fight. Boston battled back when Will Manny capitalized twice to knot the score at 2-2.
