BOSTON, MA (October 8, 2015) -  The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) has announced the 12 players on the club's protected player list in advance of the 2016 MLL Expansion Draft taking place on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 for the newly formed Atlanta Blaze. Teams were allowed to protect a maximum of 12 players from their 23-man rosters.  The 11 players not protected will be available for Atlanta to select on November 18th.  Atlanta will make 15 total selections that day, and any player not selected will return to the Cannons roster.  If three Cannons are selected by the Blaze, the Cannons can pull one of the 8 remaining unprotected players back onto their roster.
