Despite a hat trick from midfielder Justin Turri, the Cannons snapped their three-game winning streak in a 14-7 decision to the Ohio Machine at Harvard Stadium on Saturday night.
“To their credit, Ohio played a great game. Our guys were resilient, and they didn’t stop playing. We just didn’t have a great night,” said head coach, Sean Quirk following the defeat. “We were off on our game a bit. We’ll bounce back for Denver and good things will come.”
It was Davey Emala who put the Cannons on the board sixteen seconds into the first quarter after receiving a pass from Wells Stanwick. Joe Nardella won the opening face-off, and passed to Josh Hawkins who carried the offense up
