Earlier this week St. John's Prep announced the hiring of John Pynchon as its new head lacrosse coach. Pynchon, a 2001 graduate of St. John's Prep, comes to Danvers after a nine-year stint as the head coach at Beverly High. His list of accomplishments coaching the Panthers is an impressive one. Pynchon's Panthers won seven straight Northeastern Conference titles, losing just one league game in the process, Division 2 North titles in back-to-back years (2014 & 2015), and a state semifinal in 2013.
