By Bruce Lerch When Sean Quirk announced in May that he was stepping down from his position as the head coach at Endicott College, a position he held for 18 years, he really thought he was done with coaching. Then, along came an opportunity that was simply too good to pass up. Thursday afternoon, the Cannons will officially announce the hiring of Quirk as their new head coach. Quirk replaces John Tucker, who was announced as the new head coach and general manager of the expansion Atlanta Blaze franchise in September.
