BELMONT - Belmont Hill picked up a huge early season home win over perennial powerhouse Deerfield 6-4 on Wednesday afternoon. Preston Evans led the way for BH with two goals and an assist. Ben DiBattista (1G, 1A), Will Stewart (1G), Eli Goldstein (1G, 1A) and Lindan Verville all chipped in offensively as well. Matt Tomey made 10 saves in net and James Mullowney also had one. For Deerfield, Owen Bunten had two goals. Andrew Preis added one and Sam Whitehurst had a goal and an assist.
