The Eagles were able to hold onto their lead late despite the Rockets making a push in the final two quarters. The defensive pairing of Will Bowen and Tommy Joyce were able to slow down the Rockets attack, led by Jason Child, but even before they could bring the ball to the offensive end of the field, Needham struggled to clear and spent nearly the first six minutes of the game on the defense.
