ACTON - School vacation weeks can be a bit weird when it comes to high school athletics. Routines are off during the day and sleep schedules are all out of whack. Sometimes, it makes for a less-than-perfect product on the field, court or ice. In the case of Needham and Acton-Boxborough, it was a bit sloppy in the first round of The Players Cup on Tuesday. Ultimately, 17 saves from Needham goalie Tommy Peabody wasn't enough as the Revolution beat the Rockets 11-8 behind four goals and an assist for Joseph Cronin.
