No. 4 Gov’s Defeats No. 2 Belmont Hill

BYFIELD -- The much-anticipated early-season ISL match-up between No. 2 Belmont Hill and No. 4 Governor's did not disappoint on Saturday. In a game of runs, which saw each team gain momentum on multiple occasions during the contest, Governor's would withstand a late surge by Belmont Hill, to hold on for a 12-11 victory.
Belmont Hill (2-2, 2-1 in ISL) began the first quarter by seizing control, as they won the groundballs, controlled the possession and executed on both ends of the field, earning a 4-1 lead after the first.
