On Saturday afternoon at Myers Field, the two-time defending Division 1 champion Warriors opened an 8-0 lead over a red-hot No. 6 Duxbury team and held on for a 9-1 victory to maintain their dominance within the state. “On both sides of the field, it was close to the best half we’ve played [this season], but we’ve got better coming, I hope,” said L-S head coach Brian Vona.
