By Dom Vecchiarelli (@domvecfilms) LONGMEADOW - The annual rivalry match between Saint John’s (Shrewsbury) and MIAA No. 8 Longmeadow held a little more meaning on Thursday afternoon. Always a shoe-in to meet in the later rounds of the Division II Central/West sectionals, SJS moving up to Division I and Longmeadow staying put in Division II meant that Thursday’s clash would be the one and only meeting between the two rivals in 2022. In a tough meat grinder of a game that featured endless physicality, Longmeadow came with away with a 13-7 victory.
