The Hawks gave SJP all it could handle early on and led 4-3 at the end of one quarter. Tommy Sarni (Providence) eventually took over with four second half goals to help the Eagles to a 13-8 victory. Even through defeat, Xaverian gained some confidence knowing they could play with the reigning Division I champs. Throughout the last month, the Eagles (10-2, 7-0) have racked up key wins against the likes of MIAA No. 6 Franklin (14-13), MIAA No. 2 BC High (11-8) and St. John's Shrewsbury (15-9).
