The Hawks gave SJP all it could handle early on and led 4-3 at the end of one quarter. Tommy Sarni (Providence) eventually took over with four second half goals to help the Eagles to a 13-8 victory. Even through defeat, Xaverian gained some confidence knowing they could play with the reigning Division I champs.
