2022 MIAA Game & Video Recap: Walpole 9, King Philip 7

Championships are not won in April. All that matters this time of year is a positive result, and on Tuesday in Wrentham, that was exactly the case for Walpole. Fighting through early season jitters and rust, Walpole came away with a 9-7 win over King Philip behind a six-point afternoon by senior midfielder Nolen Beauregard (four goals, two assists).

After a quiet first three quarters that saw the senior captain record just one assist, attackman Ronan Fahey came through big for Walpole in the fourth, scoring a pair of goals including the would-be game-winner with 4:17 to play.
“I just wish he didn’t wait until
