By Mike Flanagan (@flano0) Back-to-back defeats to MIAA No. 3 Acton-Boxborough (8-4) and Connecticut giant Staples (14-9) in mid-April seem to have woken MIAA No. 1 St. John's Prep. After six straight wins, the Eagles (11-2, 6-0) hosted Rhode Island powerhouse La Salle Academy on Sunday for a big-time measuring stick game. The Rams (10-2) made the trip north having won seven straight, including a 12-10 victory over MIAA No. 2 BC High last Saturday. Entering Sunday, La Salle's only previous defeat came at the hands of Long Island public power Garden City (7-3). In what turned out to be the game of the weekend, St. John's Prep's collection of stars put on a show. Junior attackman Jim
