Without standout face-off man Devin German (UMass Lowell) due to a questionable MIAA decision regarding an altercation with rival Concord-Carlisle following the DCL Final, both German and another teammate were forced to sit two games. German had already sat out the first postseason game, so if the sixth-seeded Colonials could hold off No. 11 Natick in a Division 1 Sweet 16 matchup, he’d be back for the Elite Eight. In order for that to happen someone would have to step up in German's absence. That someone was Calvo, who won 15-of-2
