By Mike Flanagan NEEDHAM — Tuesday night’s showdown against No. 18 Wellesley was more than just a chance for Needham to complete the regular-season sweep of the Raiders (7-3, 7-3). Coming off a bitter 9-5 defeat to undefeated Natick (7-0, 7-0) last Thursday to surrender the Bay State Conference regular-season title, it was response time for the Rockets (8-2, 8-1). With the inaugural Bay State Conference Tournament just a week away, Needham needed to secure a victory on Tuesday in order to assure itself one of the top-two seeds. Needham would do just that, as they pulled away in the second half to win 11-4 on Tuesday night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5s6IYFzSCw Christian Gros
