BELMONT -- ISL rivals Belmont Hill and St. Sebastian’s capped off the 2021 ISL lacrosse season with a bang on Wednesday afternoon, as the two top teams in the league squared off in the final game on the calendar.
Coming off their first defeat of the season on Saturday to the No. 1 ranked team in the country, Deerfield Academy, by a score of 14-8, Belmont Hill looked to rebound and end a perfect undefeated ISL season. To do so, the Sextants would have to make history by defeating Seb’s for the third time in 2021, a feat that entering Wednesday had never been accomplished in the rivalry’s history.
