By Mike Flanagan @flano BELMONT --- Playing without injured standout senior attackman, Zach Travaglini (Boston University), the unbeaten No. 1 team in our most recent BostonLax.net and No. 11 Nationally Belmont Hill School needed to play an almost perfect game on Saturday in order to withstand the firepower of unbeaten prep power and No. 2 Deerfield Academy (Mass.). While Deerfield Academy usually extends past our regular coverage zone, due in part to being a Western Massachusetts Prep and Postgraduate educational institution, the Big Green are as well known in the Massachusetts lacrosse community as any program in the Bay State With an undefeated season on the line for both program
