LITTLETON -- The stands were packed, the lights were on and the buzz was in the air on Wednesday night, as the Central Mass. championship game between Grafton and Algonquin took place at Littleton High School. It would be the third matchup of the year for the programs and a great tune-up event before the State Tournament begins this week.
Grafton came out firing and would take a commanding 7-1 lead in the first half, and despite a second-half comeback attempt from Algonquin - it would not be enough, as the Gators would hold on, and cruise to a 13-5 win.
