By Eamon Convey @ConveiWEEI MELROSE -- After building a 7-1 lead early in the game, No. 12 Melrose (11-1) withstood a valiant comeback effort from No. 25 Reading (7-4) to hold on for an 11-10 win, on senior night. Melrose was led by the duo of Jack Wells (3 Goals, 2 Assists) and Andy Calvert (3 Goals and great work at the faceoff X). Freshman standout Brendan Fennel and senior goalie Matt Rocha also had big games for Melrose in the win. Reading was led by the star duo of Jack Geiger and Michael Tobin, who helped erase a 7-2 deficit to give Reading an opportunity to tie the game in the final seconds on Friday night. https://youtu.be/HqeHc9MobMo
