2018 D2 C/E Sectionals: Concord-Carlisle 9, Foxboro 6

By Jake Levin @jakelevin09 FOXBORO—A 90-minute bus ride is never ideal for a sectional quarterfinal matchup, but that would not deter the efforts of the Concord-Carlisle Patriots on Thursday night, as they arrived off the bus at Foxboro determined to set the tone early. The fifth-seeded Patriots (15-5) would do just that, as they would score first and never trail in the game, defeating the fourth-seeded Warriors (15-4), 9-6, to advance to the Division 2 Central/East semifinals. C-C sophomore attackman Jack Bowen would strike first on a rip, off of a feed from senior attackman Matt Moreau, 3:36 into the first quarter. Derek Stout would add a goal of his own later in the first fo
