NEWTON - Thanks to four goals apiece from Freddy Torcasio and Miles Esmonde, along with 12 saves by Jake Fiore, No. 17 Newton North rolled to a 9-1 win over Milton on Tuesday. Luke Devaney also had nine face off wins for the Tigers, while Milton goalie Benny Midura put on a show despite the loss, making 14 saves, almost all of them of high difficulty. The Tigers moved to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in the Bay State Conference, setting up a first place showdown with 18th-ranked Walpole on the road Thursday night.
