LINCOLN - In what could be a state championship preview in a little over a month, No. 3 Lincoln-Sudbury hosted No. 1 St. John's Prep on Wednesday afternoon. The matchup of perennial title contenders lived up to expectations and then some. Josh Barton scored the game-winner with 1:10 remaining and St. John's Prep goalie Mattheus Du Plessis made three saves in the final 30 seconds, preserving a wild 12-11 victory. "I wouldn't really call it a game winner, it was a collective game win," said Barton. "We were down by three or four in the beginning and we climbed back.
